How do I clear my local DNS cache?

Windows

1. Click Start, Run. Type “cmd” then hit the enter key. A DOS prompt box should appear.

2. Type “ipconfig /flushdns” (Without the quotes) and hit the enter key. You should see the text “Successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache.

3. Delete your browsers file cache and restart it.

Mac OS X

1. Go into Applications, Utilities and double click on Terminal.

2. Type “lookupd -flushcache” (Without the quotes) and hit the enter key.

3. Delete your browsers file cache and restart it.
